Community Fellowship & Meal

Some of our church ladies (Sylvia, Marie, Fay and Sally) will be preparing another meal at Living Stones Church’s weekly Community Fellowship time on Friday, November 16.
Living Stones Church does this every Friday and we help them out two times a year to give them a break from cooking. We know that our member, Doris Sholly, also will occasionally prepare a meal for them. The church is located at 229 East Main Street in Newmanstown and the meal is served between 11:30 and 12:30, during which time there is fellowship among those attending. You do not need to meet any requirements other than to show up for the meal. The meals vary, and our ladies haven’t decided yet what they will serve. Please feel free to stop by and meet with other people of the community while enjoying (hopefully) a tasty meal on November 16!!

Annual Church Christmas Party

We’re having a party and it’s never too early to get it on your busy holiday calendar!
It’s our annual Christmas Party for all church members which we host in Wistar Hall each year. This year the event is scheduled for Tuesday, December 18, at 6:00 p.m., for young and old alike, everyone invited. A main dish item, drinks and paper products will be provided; we just ask that members bring a covered dish item to share. This party has been well attended and enjoyed by many in the past and we would expect the same to be true this year.
A sign-up sheet has been posted on the church lower hallway bulletin board.  Please indicate number of adults and number of children when signing up.
Any questions can be directed to Sally Schaeffer and/or Sylvia Bucks.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Join us on December 24, 7:00 PM!
